Where does the problem lie?

The Material is not Broken. Our habits are.

Plastic was designed to make all that we use durable, keep food fresh, ensure medical supplies remain sterile and safe, and make transport efficient through lightweighting. Instead, it led to an environmental crisis. Plastic itself was not the cause. Its disposal was.

Can I use AI tools like ChatGPT to help write my blog?
No. Entries must be written entirely by the student. We use AI-detection tools to screen submissions, and AI-generated or AI-assisted entries will be disqualified.
What happens if my blog is found to be plagiarized or AI-generated?
Your entry will be disqualified without further notice. We check every submission before shortlisting.
Who can participate?
Any student currently enrolled in a recognised college or university in India, with a valid student ID.
Is there an entry fee?
No. Participation is completely free.
How long should my blog be?
500 words. Quality over quantity — make every word count.
Can I submit on more than one topic?
No — one entry per participant, on a single topic. Choose the theme where your voice is strongest.
How do I submit my blog?
Paste it directly into the form, or upload a DOC/DOCX/PDF file. Both options are available.
How are winners chosen?
A panel judges entries on relevance to the topic, originality, clarity, persuasiveness and adherence to the guidelines.
Will my blog be published?
By entering, you allow AIPMA / Plastivision to feature your blog, with credit, as part of the Plastic Positive campaign.
What do I win?
An iPhone, iPad, and Laptop respectively. Every participant receives a certificate, and shortlisted entrants are felicitated at Plastivision India 2027 in Mumbai.
