Startups with an outstanding idea at a roadshow can get direct entry into the finals. You can also apply directly for the January 2027 showcase.

All applications are kept 100% confidential

Is there a fee to apply?

No. Applying and participating in PlastiVision Rising Stars are free.

Do I have to attend a roadshow to reach the January showcase?

No. Startups with an outstanding idea at a roadshow can get direct entry into the finals, but you can also apply directly by 1 December 2026.

Can students and researchers apply?

Yes. Students, researchers and early-stage startups are welcome to apply with an innovation relevant to the plastics industry.

Will my idea stay confidential?

The programme states that information you share will be kept strictly confidential. Please review the programme's terms and any confidentiality provisions provided with the application.

Who judges the applications?

A jury of leading industry experts, academics and technology specialists evaluates applications, meets shortlisted participants virtually and judges the final pitches.

What is the virtual session?

Shortlisted startups present their innovation live online to the jury and answer questions. Dates and joining details are shared by email.

How will I hear back about my application?

Shortlisted startups are invited by email to a virtual jury session. Results are expected to be announced by 20 December 2026.

Can startups from outside India apply?

Yes. Startups from other countries can apply through the same online application process free of charge.

What should I prepare before applying?

Prepare a presentation describing your innovation, the problem it solves, how it works and its potential relevance to the plastics industry.
